Cool Arts, Cleaner River Contest (2019)


Overview: This art contest invited Washington DC District residents to design murals highlighting the importance of the DC Clean Rivers Project and investment in water infrastructure. Winners painted their designs on storm drains and received $500 prizes. The contest emphasized the project's role in revitalizing the Anacostia River, with winners announced at an August event at DC Water’s new headquarters. (Received NACWA’s 2020 National Environmental Achievement Award)

Role: Campaign Lead

  1. Campaign Development & Strategy – Led the end-to-end creation of digital marketing campaigns, from concept through execution.

  2. Website Development & Management – Built and managed campaign website

  3. Content Creation & Video Production – Directed and produced multimedia content, including video production, to drive engagement across platforms.

  4. Event Planning & Execution – Organized and managed events as part of integrated marketing efforts, coordinating logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up.

  5. Cross-Channel Marketing – Developed and implemented marketing strategies across social media, email, web, and events to ensure consistent messaging and reach.

  6. Stakeholder Collaboration – Worked with internal and external teams to align marketing efforts with organizational objectives and key messaging.
